Attentive service and good food bring distinguished guests to The Inn, time and time
again. A bountiful affair, breakfast includes fresh fruit and juice with a typical
menu of French toast, ham, a homemade pastry or pudding, or perhaps a cheese omelet,
steak, home fried potatoes and biscuits. While her guests and friends call
proprietor Patsy Carter a gourmet chef, she declines that compliment, describing herself
instead as a good down-home, mid-west cook with a California flair. Good food, good conversation; that's the way the day starts at The Inn at 657.
